Congratulations to Timber (Penstaff Scugug Timber) and
Valerie Oxenham

Timber
(Penstaff Scugug Timber) has just earned his C.D.
title in obedience at the age of 18 months. Bred by
Fleur Hardy of Penstaff Kennel, Timber is proudly
owned by Valerie and Chris Oxenham. Chris and
Valerie note that they just call him Timber,
because when he comes running it is quite possible
he may take out a few trees on his way!!!

UPDATE: Staffies
Successfully Re-Homed!
Sam and
Cody have now been adopted and will be living in non-BSL
affected areas in Western Canada!
Special
thanks to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Club of America and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Club of Puget Sound who offered these dogs a courtesy

the SBTCA's website did result in the adoption of one of
the dogs.

Featured Club of the Month:
Northern SBT Rescue, UK
Northern
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue is a voluntary
organisation located in the U. K. dedicated to providing
help to distressed or abandoned Staffordshire Bull
Terriers
Northern SBT Rescue provides advice and gets
information to owners of the breed and tries to help where
it can in difficult situations.
Sometimes a situation is untenable for the
dog perhaps because of his owners divorce, illness or even
death. In such circumstances of course they can bring the
dog into a place of safety and help him to secure a new
keeper.
All prospective owners must be properly
vetted. People with long standing breed experience are
always given precedence.

Staffies in Immediate Need of Re-Homing
Sam and
Cody are looking for a new home. The boys, who have grown up
together, are purebred, registered Staffordshire Bull
Terriers who come from a good home. They are looking for an
excellent new home in a non-BSL affected area, preferably
together.
Cody
They are
typical Staffords in every way: outstanding temperament and
active and outgoing. They are full standard males of the bull
type -- age 4.5 years. They are chipped, up-to-date on
vaccines, and already neutered. They have excellent house
manners. Please be advised that we are looking for the best
possible match for these boys -- not just any home, but the
perfect home for them.
