a magazine on working dogs, has articles on the breed ban including a
Q&A featuring Staffie breeders Julie King, Sarah Boileau, Clive
Wilkinson, and Ed Lehner. There is also an article by Julie King titled

Our auction site will have this beautiful framed cross-stich of 4-year old Australian Champion Tanaros Super Glide ("Leeroy").
Leeroy
is a 4 year old champion from Australia, currently winding down a very
active show circuit career. At the time of this sketch Leeroy was 9
months old. The electronic version was donated to the Staffordshire
Bull Terrier Club of Canada's Elaine Tessier by the artist herself,
Kylie Snell, for the purpose of raising funds.
This needlework is cross-stitched using 26 shades of cotton
floss on an 18 count aida cloth. This is an original and ONE OF A KIND
stitched exclusively for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Canada.
A 7 day auction will run starting May 30th at 9 AM. 100 % of the
proceeds go to the SBTCC - Legal Defence Account in Canada. Good Luck

BSL and Staffords featured in June issue of Dogs in Canada
 | The SBTCC would like to thank Apex Publishing and the Canadian Kennel Club for making copies of the June 2005 issue of Dogs in Canada
available to the club to send to Ontario's MPPs.

More Great Ways to Support the Legal Defence Fund
SBTCC member Samantha Sembol -- creator and maintainer of the superlative www.brok.ca -- has CafePress.com store dedicated to fighting breed specific legislation. Proceeds from sales will go to the legal defence fund.
The
SBTCC is also running its own CafePress.com store featuring the STOMP
OUT BSL logo along with the club name and web site address.
All proceeds go directly to the SBTCC Legal Defence Fund for fighting Bill 132 and BSL.

May 29th: Special Club Meeting @ Ottawa SBTCC Booster
SBTCC Booster, OKC, Richmond Fairground, outside of Ottawa.
The Ottawa Kennel Club has announced it will suspend judging in all
other rings during judging of SBTCC Booster. This move is designed to
focus attention on our breed and its plight under Bill 132.
There will also be an important Club meeting at that show. There will be an information table, donation jar for BSL, and a beautiful hand-knit afghan for raffle.
