Rescue

Since it's earliest days, the club has been involved in rescue. If a dog can be identified as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier by a knowledgeable person then it is re-homed by the club. To date all our rescued dogs have adapted successfully to their new homes and owners.

In order to keep up our current rate of success, the club needs people across the country who will take in dogs on a temporary or permanent basis as the occasion demands. Sometimes dogs have to be rehoused quickly. It is very difficult to have to call club members as short notice and ask them to take in a dog which has to be removed from his current living conditions. Therefore, the club asks you to please let the rescue coordinator know that you would like to be put on the list as a foster care giver or as a prospective adopter.

The Chair of our rescue committee is:

Ms. Kim Young
London, ON
Tel: (519) 858-8956 (emergency only)
E-mail: 2pigdogs@sympatico.ca (preferred)

Staffords that we are currently working to re-home may be viewed on our page at PetFinder.com.
