About the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Canada

Founded in 1965 the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Canada represents the interests of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Canada. The Club is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club as the national breed association for Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Our club is involved in activities on several fronts. Right now we have been actively involved in opposing breed specific legislation in Canada. We also have a club rescue, host a national specialty show (usually every 2nd year) and publish a quarterly magazine, Staffie Tales, for our members.

There are many reasons to consider joining the SBTCC, but now with breed specific legislation threatening our dogs it is particularly important.
